Born and raised in rural southern UT (Leeds, UT)Worked with family bottled spring water business and small farming/ranching operations. Work experience prior to working with Murphy-Brown LLC: Construction, Warehouse Manager/Production Supervisor, Delivery Driver/Trainer.

Volunteer service and other appointments: Volunteer religious service for two years in the Dominican Republic. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Served as president of Utah Pork Producers Association (UPPA), UPPA State representative and lobbied with state elected officials in Washington for the US Swine Industry, Appointed by USDA as representative for UT at National Pork Forum representing UT, with the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) and National Pork Board (NPB). Served as representative in moderation efforts between NPB and NPPC.

Education and certifications: Bachelor of Science in Ag Systems Technology from Utah State University, Logan, UT, 1996. Certificate in Human Resources Management from the GeorgeWashington University, Washington DC, through Council Education Management. Certified in CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement), Certified in Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

Experience with Murphy-Brown LLC/Circle Four Farms from 1996 to present: Hog Production Technician, Head of Department, Sow FarmManager, Production Training Specialist/SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Development Coordinator, Research & Development Coordinator, Sow Complex Manager, Safety Manager/Lead Auditor and currently serving as Human Resources Manager.
